[Machine] I asked Aisha, "Will one of us be rewarded for her prayer if she becomes pure?" She replied, "You are like the freewomen. We used to have our periods while we were with the Messenger of Allah, so we were not able to do such things. Or she said, 'He did not instruct us to do so.'"  

أحمد:٢٤٨٨٦حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ مُعَاذَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَتُجْزِئُ إِحْدَانَا صَلَاتَهَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ؟ فَقَالَتْ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ كُنَّا نَحِيضُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَا نَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ قَالَتْ لَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا بِذَلِكَ

A woman asked ʿAisha, "Should I offer the prayers that which I did not offer because of menses" ʿAisha said, "Are you from the Huraura' (a town in Iraq?) We were with the Prophet ﷺ and used to get our periods but he never ordered us to offer them (the Prayers missed during menses)." ʿAisha perhaps said, "We did not offer them."
