[Machine] "When Surah Al-Takathur was revealed, the Prophet ﷺ recited it until he reached the verse 'Indeed, you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.' They asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, about what pleasure will we be asked?' They said, 'The two blacks, water and dates, and our swords on our necks while the enemy is present. So, what pleasure will we be asked?' He said, 'Indeed, that will be [a time of] destruction.'"

“When this Ayah was revealed: ‘Then on that Day, you shall be asked about the delights!’ the people said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! About which delights shall we be asked? For they are only the two black things, while the enemy is present and our swords are (at the ready) upon our shoulders?” He said: ‘But it is what shall come.’”
