[Machine] I stood by the side of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ one night as he recited the long surahs in seven units of prayer. Whenever he raised his head from the bowing position, he would say, "Allah listens to the one who praises Him." Then he would say, "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all dominions, might, grandeur, and greatness." His bowing position was almost as long as his standing position, and his prostration position was almost as long as his bowing position. He completed his prayer, and my legs were almost broken.

[Machine] I stood with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night and he recited the seven long surahs in seven rak'ahs. Whenever he raised his head from the rukoo', he said, "Allah listens to the one who praises Him." Then he said, "Praise be to Allah, the Owner of the Kingdom, the Sovereignty, the Greatness, and the Majesty." His rukoo' was the same as his standing, and his prostration was the same as his rukoo'. Then he turned away and my legs were almost breaking.

ahmad:23411ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Mahdī > Zāʾidah > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr from my cousin Ḥudhayfah > Ḥudhayfah

[Machine] "I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night to pray with his prayer, so he began and recited a recitation that was neither too low nor too high, a good recitation in which he pronounced the words clearly so that we could hear. He then bowed down from his standing position, then raised his head from his bowing position and said, 'Allah hears whoever praises Him.' Then he said, 'Praise be to Allah, the Possessor of all might, dominion, greatness, and grandeur,' until he finished the long recitation. It was dark around him like the darkness of the night." Abd al-Malik said, "This is the voluntary prayer at night."
