[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Hijama (cupping) while fasting during the sacred month, and he fainted. Then he said, "That is why Hijama is disliked for a fasting person."  

أحمد:٢٢٢٨حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ صَائِمًا مُحْرِمًا فَغُشِيَعَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَلِذَلِكَ كَرِهَ الْحِجَامَةَ لِلصَّائِمِ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed Itikaf while in a state of ihram (sacred state of pilgrimage) and he fainted, so he prohibited people from observing Itikaf during fasting due to its difficulty."

«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ فَغُشِي عَلَيْهِ فَنَهَى النَّاسَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَنْ يَحْتَجِمَ الصَّائِمُ كَرَاهِيَةَ الضَّعْفِ»
