[Machine] Narrated Nubayh, from Ibn Abbas, that Ubay said to Umar: "O Amir al-Mu'minin, indeed I received the Quran from the one who received it, and Afan received it from the one who receives it from Jibril, while he was in a wet, moist state."  

أحمد:٢١١١٢حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ

عَنْ نُبَيْحٍعَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أُبَيًّا قَالَ لِعُمَرَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنِّي تَلَقَّيْتُ الْقُرْآنَ مِمَّنْ تَلَقَّاهُ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مِمَّنْ يَتَلَقَّاهُ مِنْ جِبْرِيلَ وَهُوَ رَطْبٌ
