[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ stayed at Abu Ayyub's house and mentioned this hadith of the garlic. I said to him, 'Yes, Shu'bah narrated it from Samaak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, that the Prophet ﷺ stayed at Abu Ayyub's house.' Then he remained silent."  

أحمد:٢٠٩٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَعْضَ أَصْحَابِنَا يَقُولُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عِنْدَكَ حَدِيثٌ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا وَأَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا مِنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ أَيُّوبَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَزَلَ عَلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا حَدِيثَ الثُّومِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ نَعَمْ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَزَلَ عَلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ فَسَكَتَ
