The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A judge should not decide between the two while he is in anger. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3589)   

أحمد:٢٠٣٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقْضِي الْقَاضِي بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ

[Machine] From the prophet ﷺ , he said: It is not appropriate for a judge, and Sufyan said once to a ruler, to adjudicate between two while being angry.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "No one should judge between two parties while being angry."  

أحمد:٢٠٤٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ إِلَى ابْنٍ لَهُ وَكَانَ قَاضِيًا بِسِجِسْتَانَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَلَا تَحْكُمَنَّ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَنْتَ غَضْبَانُ فَإِنِّي

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحْكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ  

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ يَحْكُمَ الْحَاكِمُ وَحَالَتُهُ غَيْرُ مُعْتَدِلَةٍ فِي الِاعْتِدَالِ
