[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were studying the Quran. He said, "Learn the Quran and recite it." He said, "That is enough for me, and I do not know it except this." He said, "Sing with it, for it is more soothing than the lullaby in the mind of a nursing mother."

أحمد:١٧٣٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَبَاثُ بْنُ رَزِينٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَتَدَارَسُ الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَاقْتَنُوهُ قَالَ قَبَاثٌ وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ وَتَغَنُّوا بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي عُقُلِهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out while we were studying the Quran, and he said, "Learn the Book of Allah and spread it, and sing with it. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more detailed in explanation than the struggle of childbirth in the mind."

الطبراني:١٤٩٢٩ – حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ عَنْ قَبَاثٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ وَمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي قَبَاثُ بْنُ رَزِينٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَتَدَارَسُ الْقُرْآنَ فَقَالَ «تَعَلَّمُوا كِتَابَ اللهِ وَأَفْشُوهُ وَتَغَنَّوْا بِهِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»
