I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Augury from the flight of birds, taking evil omens and the practice of pressomancy pertain to divination. Tarq: It is used in the sense of divination in which women threw stones. 'Iyafah: It means geomancy by drawing lines.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعِيَافَةُ وَالطِّيَرَةُ وَالطَّرْقُ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ الطَّرْقُ الزَّجْرُ وَالْعِيَافَةُ الْخَطُّ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A person is with the one they love."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Each servant has a bird on their neck."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ طَيْرُ كُلِّ عَبْدٍ فِي عُنُقِهِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 454)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Even I, when a date palm or a tree from Paradise speaks, I respond."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَأَنَا وَصِيفٌ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالشَّجَرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, hospitality, providing for guests, and guiding the lost are from acts of kindness."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعِيَافَةَ وَالطِّيَرَةَ وَالطَّرْقَ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالصَّخْرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying. Every servant would be raised (in the same very state) in which he dies. (Using translation from Muslim 2878a)

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعِيَافَةُ وَالطِّيَرَةُ وَالطَّرْقُ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»

[AI] I heard the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Our Lord is All-Hearing, All-Seeing," and he pointed with his hand towards his eyes.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «رَبُّنَا سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ» وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى عَيْنَيْهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Modesty is all goodness."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Indeed, it is a kind of gypsum."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْعِيَافَةَ وَالطَّرْقَ وَالطِّيَرَةَ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Umrah is a reward."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Do not make images of the servants of Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ اللهِ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Certainly, roadways, birds, and gusts of wind are made of gypsum.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الطَّرْقَ وَالطِّيَرَةَ وَالْعِيَافَةَ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»

"إِنَّ الْعِيَافَة ، والطَّرْقَ، والطَّيَرة مِنَ الْجِبْتِ".

"العِيَافَةُ والطِّيَرَةُ والطَّرْقُ من الجِبْتِ ".

"طَيرُ كُلِّ عبدٍ في عُنُقِهِ".
