[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever Allah tests one of His servants with an affliction in his body, Allah says to the angels, 'Write for him his good deeds that he used to do, for if I grant him healing, I will wash and purify him, and if I take his soul, I will forgive him and have mercy upon him."  

أحمد:١٣٥٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَبْتَلِيهِ اللهُ بِبَلَاءٍ فِي جَسَدِهِ إِلَّا قَالَ اللهُ لِلْمَلَكِ اكْتُبْ لَهُ صَالِحَ عَمَلِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْمَلُ فَإِنْ شَفَاهُ غَسَلَهُ وَطَهَّرَهُ وَإِنْ قَبَضَهُ غَفَرَ لَهُ وَرَحِمَهُ

If He heals him, He washes him and purifies him, and if He takes his life, He forgives him and has mercy on him."
