[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person will always remain in a good state as long as he does not rush. They asked, 'O Prophet of Allah, how does one rush?' He replied, 'He says, 'I prayed and called upon my Lord, but He did not respond to me.'"  

أحمد:١٣٠٠٨حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يَسْتَعْجِلْ قَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ؟ قَالَ يَقُولُ دَعَوْتُ رَبِّي فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِبْ لِي

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A servant will continue to be in goodness as long as he does not hasten it. They said, 'How does he hasten it?' He said, 'He says: I have prayed to my Lord, but He did not respond to me.'"  

أحمد:١٣١٩٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يَسْتَعْجِلْ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ؟ قَالَ يَقُولُ قَدْ دَعَوْتُ رَبِّي فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِبْ لِي  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ دُعَاءَ مَنْ رَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا لَمْ يَدْعُ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ أَوْ يَسْتَعْجِلِ الْإِجَابَةَ، فَيَتْرُكُ الدُّعَاءَ

The supplication of the servant is granted in case he does not supplicate for sin or for severing the ties of blood, or he does not become impatient. It was said: Messenger of Allah, what does:" If he does not grow impatient" imply? He said: That he should say like this: I supplicated and I supplicated but I did not find it being responded. and theu he becomes frustrated and abandons supplication. ابن حبّان:٨٨١أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَزَالُ يُسْتَجَابُ لِلْعَبْدِ مَا لَمْ يَدْعُ بِإِثْمٍ أَوْ قَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ مَا لَمْ يَسْتَعْجِلْ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ؟ قَالَ «* قَدْ دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي فَيَنْحَسِرُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ فَيَتْرُكُ الدُّعَاءَ»
