When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Medina, the Abyssinians played for his coming out of joy; they played with spears. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4923)  

أحمد:١٢٦٤٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ لَعِبَتِ الْحَبَشَةُ لِقُدُومِهِ بِحِرَابِهِمْ فَرَحًا بِذَلِكَ
