[Machine] This is how I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying.  

أحمد:١٢٢٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْمَوَّالِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَلَحِّفًا بِهِ وَرِدَاؤُهُ مَوْضُوعٌ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْنَا لَهُ أَتُصَلِّي وَرِدَاؤُكَ مَوْضُوعٌ؟ قَالَ

هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي

I went to Jabir bin ʿAbdullah and he was praying wrapped in a garment and his Rida was Lying beside him. When he finished the prayers, I said "O ʿAbdullah! You pray (in a single garment) while your Rida' is lying beside you." He replied, "Yes, I did it intentionally so that the ignorant ones like you might see me. I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying like this. "  

البخاري:٣٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الْمَوَالِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ وَرِدَاؤُهُ مَوْضُوعٌ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْنَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ تُصَلِّي وَرِدَاؤُكَ مَوْضُوعٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَحْبَبْتُ

أَنْ يَرَانِي الْجُهَّالُ مِثْلُكُمْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي هَكَذَا  

ahmad:12280 – Abū ʿĀmir > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Abū al-Mawwāl > Mūsá b. Ibrāhīm b. Abū Rabīʿah

[Machine] So I said to him, "Do you pray in the same garment?" He replied, "Indeed, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying like this."
