[Machine] He spoke to him about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he said, "Did you hear him?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Do not sell gold for gold, nor silver for silver, except equal for equal, and do not sell what is not present on the spot for a price.'"

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abu Said al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sell gold for gold except like for like and do not increase one part over another part. Do not sell silver for silver, except like for like and do not increase one part over another part. Do not sell some of it which is not there for some of it which is."

[Machine] He narrated to him about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and his conversation with him did not end until he entered upon Abu Sa'eed and I was with him. He said, "Indeed, this person has narrated to me a narration from you, claiming that you narrated it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Did you hear it?" Abu Sa'eed said, "My eyes have seen it and my ears have heard it. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Do not sell gold for gold or silver for silver unless it is like for like, and do not defer payment of one part of it over another, and do not sell something that is absent for something present.'"
