[Machine] About prayer, until it was after Maghrib by the shade of night, until we were finished, and that is the saying of Allah Almighty: "And sufficient is Allah for the believers in battle, and Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might." [Surah Al- Ahzab, verse 25]. He said: "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Bilal and he established the Dhuhr prayer, and he prayed it and perfected his prayer as he used to pray it at its time. Then he commanded him to establish the Asr prayer, so he established it and prayed it and perfected his prayer as he used to pray it at its time. Then he commanded him to establish the Maghrib prayer, so he established it and prayed it." He said: "And this was before Allah revealed: "...Men, whether riding or on foot..." [Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 239].

"On the day of Al-Khandaq the idolators kept us from praying Zuhr until the sun had gone down; that was before the revelation concerning fighting was revealed. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: Allah sufficed for the believers in the fighting.[1] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Bilal to say the Iqamah for Zuhr prayer, and he offered it just as he used to offer it on time. Then he said the Iqamah for 'Asr and he offered it just as he used to offer it on time. Then he called the Adhan for Maghrib and offered it on time." [1] Al-Ahzab 33:25.

[Machine] "We were confined on the Day of the Trench until the darkness of night disappeared, and that was when God had sufficed the believers in battle, and God is powerful and mighty. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then called Bilal and commanded him to make the call to prayer. He established the Dhuhr prayer and performed it perfectly as he used to do it at its proper time. Then he established the Asr prayer and performed it similarly. Next, he established the Maghrib prayer and performed it similarly. Finally, he established the Isha prayer and performed it similarly. All of this happened before he descended to perform the prayer of fear. Hajjaj said about the prayer of fear, 'If you are afraid, then pray on foot or while riding.' " [Quran 2:239]

[Machine] Regarding the prayers, it was mentioned that after Maghrib (sunset prayer) it became cool, and this was before descending for battle. So when we finished fighting, and this is in reference to Allah's statement, "And Allah was all sufficient for the believers in the battle" [Al-Ahzab 25], the Prophet ﷺ ordered Bilal to give the call to prayer (Adhan), then he established the Dhuhr (midday prayer) and prayed it as he would in its proper time. Then he established the 'Asr (afternoon prayer) and prayed it as he would in its proper time. Then he established the Maghrib (sunset prayer) and prayed it as he would in its proper time.

[Machine] "We were besieged during the Battle of Al-Khandaq (the Trench) until the darkness of night arrived and we were relieved. This is the saying of Allah the Almighty, "And Allah was sufficient for the believers in battle, and ever is Allah Powerful and Exalted in Might." [Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:25]. The Prophet ﷺ then called Bilal and commanded him to call the Adhan (the Muslim call to prayer). He performed the Zuhr prayer perfectly, as he used to pray it in its proper time. Then he commanded him and he established the Asr prayer, and he performed it as well. Then he commanded him and he established the Maghrib prayer, and he performed it. Then he commanded him and he established the Isha prayer, and he performed it." [This happened] before the revelation of the verse "And if you fear [an enemy, then pray] on foot or riding."
