[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Whoever seeks forgiveness, Allah will forgive him, and whoever seeks sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient, and whoever asks us for anything, if we find it, we give it to him."

[Machine] A man from the Ansar had a need, so his family said to him, "Go to the Prophet ﷺ and ask him." So he went to him while he was delivering a sermon and he was saying, "Whoever seeks Allah's help, Allah will help him. Whoever seeks independence from others, Allah will make him self-sufficient. Whoever asks from us, we will give to him." The man then left without asking.  

أحمد:١٠٩٨٩حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ كَانَتْ بِهِ حَاجَةٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَهْلُهُ ائْتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَاسْأَلْهُ فَأَتَاهُ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ اسْتَعَفَّ أَعَفَّهُ اللهُ وَمَنْ اسْتَغْنَى أَغْنَاهُ اللهُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَنَا فَوَجَدْنَا لَهُ أَعْطَيْنَاهُ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْ
