ahmad:8968Muḥammad b. Abū ʿAdī > Ḥumayd > Bakr > Abū Rāfiʿ > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] I met the Prophet ﷺ while I was in a state of impurity, so I walked with him until he sat down, then I slipped away to my belongings and performed ablution. After that, I came to him while he was still sitting, and he asked me where I had been. I said to him, "You met me while I was in a state of impurity, and I disliked sitting next to you while in such a state, so I went and performed ablution." He said, "Glory be to Allah! Indeed, a believer does not become impure."
