[Machine] Ibn Mas'ood used to say in his supplication while fearful, seeking refuge, pitiful, seeking forgiveness, desiring and fearing.  

الزهد لأحمد:٨٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ

أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ خَائِفًا مُسْتَجِيرًا بَائِسًا مُسْتَغْفِرًا رَاغِبًا رَاهِبًا
