[Machine] Indeed, you are of pleasant fragrance, beautiful color, and delicious taste. But I hate to indulge myself in what I am not accustomed to.  

الزهد لأحمد:٧٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ الْمَكْفُوفِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ حَبَّةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَنَّهُ أُتِيَ بِالْفَالَوْذَجِ فَوُضِعَ قُدَّامَهُ فَقَالَ

"عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شُرَيْكٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنَّ عَلِىَّ بْنَ أَبِى طَالِبٍ أُتِىَ بفَالُوذَجٍ فَوُضِعَ قُدَّامَهُ فَقَالَ: إِنَّكَ طَيِّبُ الرِّيحِ، حَسَنُ اللَّوْنِ، طَيِّبُ الطَّعْمِ، وَلَكِنْ أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُعَوِّدَ نَفْسِى مَا لَمْ تَعْتَدْ".  

[حم] أحمد في الزهد، [حل] أبى نعيم في الحلية
