[Machine] When Uthbah arrived at the border of Azerbaijan, he was brought khubz and commanded to make two large loaves of bread from it. Then he was carried on a camel and they set out to Umar. When he arrived to Umar, he tasted it and found it to be sweet. He said, "Do all Muslims satisfy themselves from this during their journey?" He replied, "No." Umar said, "Then we have no need for it." He folded them and returned them to him, then he wrote to him, "As for what follows, it is not the custom of your father or your mother. So satisfy the Muslims from what you have satisfied yourself with during your journey." He said, "And beware of resembling the non-Arabs and their luxuries, and upon you is modesty."
