[Machine] "And he said, 'I will now join the people, and I do not know what I have earned for myself.'

And Uthman ibn Abi Dahrash said, 'I have never prayed a prayer without seeking forgiveness from Allah for my shortcomings in it.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي دَهْرَشٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْفَجْرَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ بَثُّهُ

وَقَالَ أَصِيرُ الْآنَ مَعَ النَّاسِ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا أَجْنِي عَلَى نَفْسِي

وقالَ عُثْمانُ بْنُ أبِي دَهْرَشٍ: «ما صَلَّيْتُ صَلاةً قَطُّ إلّا اسْتَغْفَرْتُ اللَّهَ مِن تَقْصِيرِي فِيها»
