[Machine] I heard Malik, meaning Ibn Dinar, and he had a sorrowful voice. He would put his head in his place of worship and then say, "O God of Malik, you know the inhabitants of Hellfire from the inhabitants of Paradise, so which of the two men is Malik?" Then he would cry. He said, "And I heard Malik saying, 'Indeed, Allah says: "Indeed, I desire to punish My servants. So when I look at the companions of the Quran and the builders of mosques and the children of Islam, My anger subsides, and I say: I have averted My punishment."
