ahmad-zuhd:17Rawḥ b. ʿUbādah from Kitābih > Bisṭām b. Muslim > Muʿāwiyah b. Qurrah

[Machine] My father said to me, "We have lived like this with our Prophet and we only have two types of food, dates and water." I asked him, "Do you know what the two types are?" He replied, "Dates and water."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٧حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ حَدَّثَنَا بِسْطَامُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي أَبِي «لَقَدْ عَمَّرْنَا كَذَا مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا ﷺ وَمَا لَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الْأَسْوَدَانِ» فَقَالَ وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الْأَسْوَدَانِ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ

الحاكم:٧٠٧٦أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثَنَا بِسْطَامُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ

أَبِي «لَقَدْ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَمَا لَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الْأَسْوَدَانِ» قَالَ «وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الْأَسْوَدَانِ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «الْمَاءُ وَالتَّمْرُ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
