حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَعَطَسَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَذَا مَزْكُومٌ
See hadith 935.
حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَعَطَسَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَذَا مَزْكُومٌ
Iyas ibn Salama related that his father said, "A man sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ and the Prophet said, 'May Allah have mercy on you.' Then the man sneezed again and the Prophet ﷺ said, 'This man has a cold.'"
عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ عَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَذَا مَزْكُومٌ
A person sneezed in his presence and he said to him: May Allah have mercy upon you. And he then sneezed for the second time and Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: He is suffering from cold (and no response is necessary).
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَعَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ مَزْكُومٌ
when a man sneezed beside the prophet (May peace be upon him), he said to him : Allah have mercy on you, but when he sneezed again, he said : The man has a cold in the head.
أَنَّ رَجُلاً عَطَسَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ مَزْكُومٌ
from his father: "A man sneezed in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I was present, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Yarhamukallah (May Allah have mercy upon you).' Then he sneezed a second and third time. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "This man is suffering from a cold.'"
عَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ الثَّانِيَةَ وَالثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَذَا رَجُلٌ مَزْكُومٌ
when a man sneezed beside the prophet (May peace be upon him), he said to him : Allah have mercy on you, but when he sneezed again, he said : The man has a cold in the head. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5037)
عَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ» ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ «الرَّجُلُ مَزْكُومٌ»
[AI] I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man sneezed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on you." Then he sneezed again and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The man has a cold."
كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَطَسَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ مَزْكُومٌ
[AI] He informed him that a man sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ , so the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah have mercy on you." Then he sneezed a second or third time, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, he is ill."
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا عَطَسَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ ثُمَّ عَطَسَ الثَّانِيَةَ أَوِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّهُ مَزْكُومٌ
when a man sneezed beside the prophet (May peace be upon him), he said to him : Allah have mercy on you, but when he sneezed again, he said : The man has a cold in the head. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5037)
