This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:٢٦٧٥j – وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

abudawud:2084 – al-Qaʿnabī > Ibn Lahīʿah > Jaʿfar / Ibn Rabīʿah > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

This tradition has also been transmitted by A’ishah through a different chain of narrators from the Prophet ﷺ to the same effect. Abu Dawud said “Ja’far did not hear any tradition from Al Zuhri. Al Zuhri gave him his writing.”  

أبو داود:٢٠٨٤ – حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ جَعْفَرٌ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ
abudawud:1948 – Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá b. Fayyāḍ > ʿAbd al-Wahhāb > Ayyūb al-Sakhtiyānī > Muḥammad b. Sīrīn > Ibn Abū Bakrah > Abū Bakrah

Ibn 'Awn has mentioned his ('Abu Bakrah's) name and narrated this tradition: From 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakrah on the authority of Abu Bakrah.  

أبو داود:١٩٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ فَيَّاضٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمَّاهُ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ فَقَالَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
abudawud:1824 – ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet ﷺ to the same effect.  

أبو داود:١٨٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

abudawud:34 – Muḥammad b. Ḥātim b. Bazīʿ > ʿAbd al-Wahhāb b. ʿAṭāʾ > Saʿīd > Abū Maʿshar > Ibrāhīm > al-Aswad > ʿĀʾishah

Aishah, also reported a tradition bearing similar meaning through another chain of transmitters.  

أبو داود:٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

abudawud:387 – Maḥmūd b. Khālid > Muḥammad / Ibn ʿĀʾidh > Yaḥyá / Ibn Ḥamzah > al-Awzāʿī > Muḥammad b. al-Walīd > Ayḍ Saʿīd b. Abū Saʿīd > al-Qaʿqāʿ b. Ḥakīm > ʿĀʾishah

'Aishah reported a similar tradition from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.  

أبو داود:٣٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَائِذٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَيْضًا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

abudawud:1405 – Ibn al-Sarḥ > Ibn Wahb > Abū Ṣakhr > Ibn Qusayṭ > Khārijah b. Zayd b. Thābit from his father

Zaid was imam (in a prayer) and he did not make prostration.  

أبو داود:١٤٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَخْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ قُسَيْطٍ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كَانَ زَيْدٌ الإِمَامَ فَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ فِيهَا
abudawud:3162 – Ḥāmid b. Yaḥyá > Sufyān > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ from his father > Isḥāq a freed slave of Zāʾidah > Abū Hurayrah

This has been abrogated. When Ahmad b. Hanbal was asked about a man taking a bath after his washing the dead, I heard him say: Ablution is sufficient for him. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Salih made a mention of the narrator Ishaq, the client of Za'idah between him and Abu Hurairah. He said: The tradition of Mus'ab is weak. It contains many things that are not practised.  

أبو داود:٣١٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ مَوْلَى زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا مَنْسُوخٌ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنْ غَسْلِ الْمَيِّتِ فَقَالَ يُجْزِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَدْخَلَ أَبُو صَالِحٍ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ يَعْنِي إِسْحَاقَ مَوْلَى زَائِدَةَ قَالَ وَحَدِيثُ مُصْعَبٍ ضَعِيفٌ فِيهِ خِصَالٌ لَيْسَ الْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ
abudawud:4108 – Muḥammad b. Dāwud b. Sufyān > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by 'Aishah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect.  

أبو داود:٤١٠٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

abudawud:3552 – Aḥmad b. Abū al-Ḥawārī > al-Walīd > al-Awzāʿī > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah And ʿUrwh > Jābir

A similar tradition has also been transmitted by al-Laith b. Sa'd from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah from Jabir.  

أبو داود:٣٥٥٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَعُرْوَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
abudawud:3642 – Muḥammad b. al-Wazīr al-Dimashqī > al-Walīd > Laqīt Shabīb b. Shaybah Faḥaddathanī Bih > ʿUthmān b. Abū Sawdah > Abū al-Dardāʾ /

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu al-Darda through a different chain of narrators to the same effect from the Holy Prophet ﷺ  

أبو داود:٣٦٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ قَالَ لَقِيتُ شَبِيبَ بْنَ شَيْبَةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ يَعْنِي

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمَعْنَاهُ  

ahmad:21127 – Ḥajjāj And ʾAbū Qaṭan ʿAmr b. al-Haytham > Ḥamzah > Abū Isḥāq > Saʿīd b. Jubayr > Ibn ʿAbbās > Ubay b. Kaʿb

Aishah, also reported a tradition bearing similar meaning through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 34)
