The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who accompanied him did not go round the Ka'bah till they threw pebbles at the Jamrah (pillar at Mina).  

أبو داود:١٨٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَهُ لَمْ يَطُوفُوا حَتَّى رَمَوُا الْجَمْرَةَ
