"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met Ibn Sa'eed on one of the streets of Al-Madinah, so he stopped him- and he was a Jewish boy with locks- and Abu Bakr and 'Umar were with him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?' So he replied: 'Do you testify that I am Messenger of Allah?' So the Prophet ﷺ said: 'I believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day.'Then the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'What do you see?' He said: 'I see a throne above the water.' So the Prophet ﷺ said: 'He sees the throne of Iblis above the sea.' He said: 'What else do you see?' He said: 'I see a truthful one,and two liars- or two truthful ones and a liar.' So the Prophet ﷺsaid:"He has been confounded. So leave him.'"

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

الترمذي:٢٢٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

لَقِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ابْنَ صَائِدٍ فِي بَعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَاحْتَبَسَهُ وَهُوَ غُلاَمٌ يَهُودِيٌّ وَلَهُ ذُؤَابَةٌ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنْتَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا تَرَى قَالَ أَرَى عَرْشًا فَوْقَ الْمَاءِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ تَرَى عَرْشَ إِبْلِيسَ فَوْقَ الْبَحْرِ قَالَ فَمَا تَرَى قَالَ أَرَى صَادِقًا وَكَاذِبَيْنِ أَوْ صَادِقَيْنِ وَكَاذِبًا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لُبِّسَ عَلَيْهِ فَدَعَاهُ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَحَفْصَةَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

ابن حبّان:٦٧٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

لَقِيَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ ابْنَ صَائِدٍ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ قَالَ وَابْنُ صَائِدٍ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ؟ » قَالَ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ؟ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ «آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ» قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا تَرَى؟ » قَالَ أَرَى عَرْشًا عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَقَالَ ﷺ «تَرَى عَرْشَ إِبْلِيسَ عَلَى الْبَحْرِ» قَالَ «انْظُرْ مَا تَرَى؟ » قَالَ أَرَى صَادِقِينَ وَكَاذِبِينَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لُبِسَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ» فَدَعَاهُ

" عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَقِىَ ابْنَ صَيَّاد وَمَعَهُ أبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّى رَسُولُ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ: أَشْهَدُ () أَنِّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ . فقَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : آمَنْتُ باللهِ وَرسُلِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : مَا تَرَى؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ صيَّادٍ: أَرَى عَرْشًا عَلَى الْمَاءِ، فَقالَ لَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : تَرَى عَرْشَ إِبْليسَ عَلَى الْبَحْرِ، قَالَ: مَا تَرَى؟ قَالَ: أَرَى صَادِقَيْنِ أَوْ كَاذِبَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ، لُبِسَ ( *) عَلَيْهِ، لُبِسَ عَلَيْهِ، فَدَعُوهُ ".
