[Machine] The nation who teaches people goodness and is obedient to Allah and His Messenger, and the same was Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who taught goodness and was obedient to Allah and His Messenger.

الطبراني:٩٩٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي فَرْوَةُ بْنُ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ إِنَّ §مُعَاذًا كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا فَقُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي غَلَطَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّمَا قَالَ {إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ} قَالَ أَتَدْرِي مَا الْأُمَّةُ وَمَا الْقَانِتُ؟ قَالَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ

الْأُمَّةُ الَّذِي يُعَلِّمُ النَّاسَ الْخَيْرَ وَالْقَانِتُ الْمُطِيعُ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَكَذَلِكَ كَانَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ يُعَلِّمُ الْخَيْرَ وَكَانَ مُطِيعًا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ
