[Machine] "O Abu Abdurrahman, verily I have taken an oath to not sleep on my bed for a year, but Abdullah recited this verse to me: O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors." He said, "Break your oath and sleep on your bed." I said, "I am unable." He said, "Then free a slave."  

الطبراني:٩٦٩٣c – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمُعْتَمِرِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ ابْنَ مُقَرِّنٍ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ

يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنِّي حَلَفْتُ أَنْ لَا أَنَامَ عَلَى فِرَاشِي سَنَةً فَتَلَا عَبْدُ اللهِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ} كَفِّرْ يَمِينَكَ وَنَمْ عَلَى فِرَاشِكَ قَالَ إِنِّي مُوسِرٌ قَالَ أَعْتِقْ رَقَبَةً
