[Machine] "It is now apparent to you, so propose to her for yourself." So he proposed to her for himself and gave her a weight of silver as a dowry.  

الطبراني:٩٦٤٠حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ وَمُغِيرَةَ وَالْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ آلَى مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَمَضَتْ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُجَامِعَهَا ثُمَّ جَامَعَهَا بَعْدَ الْأَرْبَعَةِ وَهُوَ لَا يَذْكُرُ يَمِينَهُ فَأَتَى عَلْقَمَةَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَتَوُا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالَ

«قَدْ بَانَتْ مِنْكَ فَاخْطُبْهَا إِلَى نَفْسِهَا» فَخَطَبَهَا إِلَى نَفْسِهَا فَأَصْدَقَهَا رِطْلًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ
