[Machine] Ibrahim ibn Ubaidallah ibn Abi Rafi', a freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, Abu Rafi', that the Prophet ﷺ used to move his ring on his finger when he performed ablution for prayer.  

الطبراني:٩٥٦حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ الْعَبْدِيُّ

ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ حَرَّكَ خَاتَمَهُ فِي إِصْبَعَهِ»
