[Machine] The prayer was established in the mosque, so we walked with Abdullah. When the people bowed, Abdullah bowed and we bowed with him while walking. Then a man passed in front of him and said, "Peace be upon you, Abu Abdullah." Abdullah, while still bowing, said, "May Allah and His Messenger be true." After he finished, some people asked him why he said "May Allah and His Messenger be true" when the man greeted him. Abdullah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'One of the signs of the Hour is when the greeting is given to those whom you recognize'."

[Machine] Peace be upon you, Abu Abdurrahman. Abdulla replied while he was in a state of prostration, "May Allah and His Messenger be truthful. When he finished, some people asked him, 'Why did you say, 'May Allah and His Messenger be truthful' when the man greeted you?' He replied, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'One of the signs of the Hour is that when the greeting is given to a person on whom it is not due, he says, 'May Allah and His Messenger be truthful.'"
