[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ went out with Abu Bakr and Umar. Abu Bakr invited them, so they left his house to go to the mosque of Al-Madina. In it, Abdullah was standing, praying and reciting. Then he sat down and made the Islamic declaration of faith and praised Allah in the best way that a person could praise. He also sent blessings upon his Prophet ﷺ and then he supplicated. And the Prophet ﷺ said, "Ask, and it shall be given to you." Abu Bakr said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is this?" He ﷺ said, "This is Abdullah ibn Umm Abed. Whoever wants to recite the Quran as it was revealed, should recite it like the recitation of Ibn Umm Abed." So Abu Bakr and Umar began to recall and Umar mentioned that Abu Bakr had preceded him and Umar said, "He was always ahead in doing good deeds."

[Machine] He (the Prophet Muhammad) went out with Abu Bakr and Umar, and Abu Bakr invited them. They left from his house to the Masjid of Madinah. Abdullah was standing, praying and reciting. Then he sat and performed the Tashahhud (prayer supplication) and praised Allah in the best way a person can praise. Then he prayed upon the Prophet Muhammad, and then he supplicated. The Prophet Muhammad was standing, listening, and he said, "Ask, and you shall be given." Abu Bakr asked, "Who is this, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "This is Abdullah ibn Umm Abd, whoever desires to recite the Quran with its proper recitation, as it was revealed, should recite it as Abdullah ibn Umm Abd recites it." So Abu Bakr and Umar hurried to him. Abu Bakr reached him first, and Umar claimed that Abu Bakr had reached him before him. Umar said, "He was always the first in goodness." All agreed.
