tabarani:8016a – Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar al-Sadūsī > Abū Bilāl al-Ashʿarī

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The prescribed prayers (salat) expiate what came before them, until the next prayer, and the Friday prayer expiates what came before it, until the next Friday prayer, and Ramadan expiates what came before it, until the next Ramadan, and the pilgrimage (hajj) expiates what came before it, until the next pilgrimage."  

الطبراني:٨٠١٦a – حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ أَبُو حَمَّادٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ أَبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ مَوْلَى زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الصَّلَاةُ الْمَكْتُوبَةُ تُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ الْأُخْرَى وَالْجُمُعَةُ تُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهَا الْجُمُعَةُ الْأُخْرَى وَشَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ إِلَى شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَالْحَجُّ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ إِلَى الْحَجِّ»

"الصَّلاةُ الْمَكْتُوبَةُ تُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهَا إِلَى الصَّلاةِ الأُخْرَى، وَالْجُمُعَةُ

تُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهَا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الأُخْرى، وَشَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ إِلَى شهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، وَالْحَجُّ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ إلَى الْحَجِّ. لا يَحِلُّ لامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ أَنْ تَحُجَّ إِلَّا مَعَ زَوْجٍ أَوْ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ ".
