الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

tabarani:7975Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Dabarī > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > al-Muthanná b. al-Ṣabbāḥ > al-Qāsim al-Shāmī > Mawlāh Lah

[Machine] It is said that Umm Hashim sent a man to her father, Ummamah, asking him about a hadith narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding ablution. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever goes to perform ablution and washes his hands, the sins of his hands are washed away. Then, when he rinses his mouth, the sins of his mouth are washed away. When he sniffs water into his nose, the sins of his nose are washed away. Similarly, when he washes his face, the sins of his face are washed away. This continues until he washes his feet, and if he goes out to perform a mandatory prayer, it will be like a complete Hajj (pilgrimage) for him, and if he goes out to perform a voluntary prayer, it will be like a complete Umrah (minor pilgrimage) for him.'"
