سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

tabarani:7105 – ʿAbdān b. Aḥmad > Duḥaym > Yaḥyá b. Ḥassān > Sulaymān b. Mūsá > Jaʿfar b. Saʿd b. Samurah > Khubayb b. Sulaymān from his father > Samurah b. Jundub

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "I would enter this room, only fearing that there may be wealth in it that I have not spent before I die."  

الطبراني:٧١٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا دُحَيْمٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنِّي لَأَلِجُ هَذِهِ الْغُرْفَةَ مَا أَلِجُهَا حِينَئِذٍ إِلَّا خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِيهَا مَالٌ فَأُتَوَفَّى وَلَمْ أُنْفِقْهُ»
