[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited a person from selling the fruit of his palm tree until it was eaten, out of fear that he might sell it while it is still developing and spoil the fruit. He also prohibited a person from selling their crop until it reaches the harvest, and he prohibited selling food for gold until the food is received, out of fear of engaging in usury.  

الطبراني:٧٠٥٦وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْهَى رَبَّ النَّخْلِ أَنْ يَدِينَ فِي ثَمَرِ نَخْلِهِ حَتَّى يُؤْكَلَ مِنْ ثَمَرَتِهَا مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَدِينَ بِدَيْنٍ كَثِيرٍ تَفْسَدُ الثَّمَرَةُ فَلَا تُوَفِّي عَنْهُ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى رَبَّ الزَّرْعِ أَنْ يَدِينَ فِي زَرْعِهِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْحَصْدَ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى رَبَّ الذَّهَبِ إِذَا بَاعَهَا بِطَعَامٍ فِي الثَّمَرِ أَنَّ يَبِيعَ الطَّعَامَ بِالذَّهَبِ حَتَّى يُكَالَ الطَّعَامُ فَيَقْبِضَهُ مَخَافَةَ الرِّبَا»
