[AI] Once, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "A day will come when I will be told to recite to the son of Al-Khattab." So, he called him and commanded him to bring the Quran whenever a revelation was sent down, so he could recite it to him.

الطبراني:٧٠٤٩وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَنَا يَوْمًا قَدْ قِيلَ لِيَ اقْرَأْ عَلَى ابْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَدَعَاهُ فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يَحْضُرَ الْقُرْآنَ إِذَا أُنْزِلَ لِيَقْرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِ
