[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called a barber and had him shaved with a razor and a blade. An Arab man from the tribe of Banu Fazara saw this and said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do you let him cut your flesh?" He ﷺ said, "Do you not know the benefit and the best thing you can use for treatment?"  

الطبراني:٦٧٨٥حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّامًا فَحَجَمَهُ بِقَرْنٍ وَشَرْطَةِ شَفْرَةٍ فَرَآهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلَامَ تَدَعُ هَذَا يَقْطَعُ لَحْمَكَ؟ قَالَ «هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا هَذَا الْحَجْمُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ»

[Machine] An Arab from the tribe of Banu Fazara, from the tribe of Banu Umm Qirfa, entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He found a hajjam (a person who performs cupping) cupping him with horns and a needle. So, he said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is this? Why do you let this person cut your skin?" He replied, "This is cupping, and it is the best treatment you seek."  

الحاكم:٧٤٦٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ مِنْ بَنِي أُمِّ قِرْفَةَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا حَجَّامٌ يَحْجُمُهُ بِمَحَاجِمَ لَهُ مِنْ قُرُونٍ يَشْرِطُ بِشَفْرَةٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ تَدَعُ هَذَا يَقْطَعُ عَلَيْكَ جِلْدَكَ؟ قَالَ «هَذَا الْحَجْمُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الْعَتَكِيُّ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍعلى شرط البخاري ومسلم
