[Machine] Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a debt that his mother owed. He asked if he could pay it off for her. The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes."  

الطبراني:٥٣٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ اسْتَفْتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي دَيْنٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ رَقَبَةٌ أَفَأُعْتِقُ عَنْهَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»
