ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

tabarani:4930[Chain 1] Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥasan al-Taghlibī [Chain 2] Abū Ḥuṣayn al-Qāḍī > Yaḥyá al-Ḥimmānī > Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh > al-Aʿmash > ʿAdī b. Thābit > Zayd b. Thābit

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Indeed, there are things that I dislike to be recited to me. Can you bear to learn Syriac?' I replied: 'Yes.' So, I learned it in seventeen days.' Abu Al-Qasim said: 'Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated it from Adiy ibn Thabit and differed from the companions of Al-Amash in the chain of narration. If he memorized it, then it is a strange (narration) from the hadith of Adiy ibn Thabit. Otherwise, the narration is as the people narrated it from Al-Amash from Thabit ibn Ubayd.'"
