عَوْفُ بْنُ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

[Machine] "The verse that prescribes the punishment for murder was revealed in Surah An-Nisa, after the one in Surah Al-Furqan, six months later. His statement is, 'And whoever does that will meet with the consequences.'"  

الطبراني:٤٩٠٦حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

«نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ تَشْدِيدِ قَتْلِ النَّفْسِ الَّتِي فِي سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ بَعْدَ الَّتِي فِي الْفُرْقَانِ بِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ» قَوْلُهُ {وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا}
