[Machine] Ibn Abbas said, "This is how we treat the senior scholars."  

الطبراني:٤٧٤٦حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا رَزِينُ الرُّمَّانِيُّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ كَبَّرَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ أَرْبَعًا وَمَا حَسِبْتُهَا حَدًّا ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِدَابَّةٍ فَأَخَذَ لَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الرِّكَابَ فَقَالَ لَهُ زَيْدٌ دَعْهُ أَوْ ذَرْهُ فَقَالَ

ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «هَكَذَا نَفْعَلُ بِالْعُلَمَاءِ الْكُبَرَاءِ»
