رقادُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ

tabarani:4631 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī > Aḥmad b. Kathīr al-Bajalī > Yaʿlá b. al-Ashdaq

[Machine] I met several companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , one of whom was Riqad ibn Rabiah. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took from us a hundred sheep as charity. If the number increased, he would take two sheep, no more."  

الطبراني:٤٦٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ أَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْأَشْدَقُ قَالَ

أَدْرَكْتُ عِدَّةً مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِمَّنْ صَدَقَ مِنْهُمُ رقادُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ «أَخَذَ مِنَّا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ مِنَ الْمِئَةِ شَاةً فَإِنْ زَادَتْ فَشَاتَانِ»

"عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ الأَشْدَقِ قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ عِدَّةً مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ، مِمَّنْ صَدَّقَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ ، مِنْهُمْ رُقَادُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ الْعُقَيْلِىُّ، قَالَ: أَخَذَ مِنَّا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ مِنَ الْمِائَةِ شَاةً. فَإِنْ زَادَت فَشَاتَانِ".
