رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الدِّيلِيُّ

[Machine] A man from the tribe of Layth came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I ask you (to listen to) something (poetry) and recite it three times, and then you will recite it for the fourth time and praise me." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If anyone among the poets is good, you have excelled."  

الطبراني:٤٥٩٣حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ثنا مَسْعُودُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنْشُدُكَ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَأَنْشَدَهُ الرَّابِعَةَ مِدْحَةً لَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الشُّعَرَاءِ يُحْسِنُ فَقَدْ أَحْسَنْتَ»
