[Machine] We obtained sheep, so we divided them at Dhi al-Hulayfah. Then a camel separated from them, and a man followed it on his horse and either stabbed it with a spear or struck it with a sword. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Surely, this camel has young ones like the young ones of a wild animal. So when something separates from it, deal with it in this manner." A man said, "We used to slaughter using Marwah and a piece of stick." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let the blood flow as you wish, as long as it does not have a tooth or nail, as the tooth is a bone and the nail is the size of a coin."
