[Machine] "We used to not consider renting land as something harmful until Rāfiʿ bin Khadīj told us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it."  

الطبراني:٤٢٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ أَنَا أَشْعَثُ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

كُنَّا لَا نَرَى بِكِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ بَأْسًا حَتَّى حَدَّثَنَا رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ»
