[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, from 'Umarah ibn Sayyad, that 'Ata' ibn Yasar informed him that Abu Ayyub al-Ansari told him, "We used to sacrifice a single sheep, which a man would slaughter on behalf of himself and his family. Then people started to boast about it, and it became a form of showing off."
