[Machine] Yes, by Allah, people have seen him. He came forward until he reached that gathering at Safa and Marwa. There they were sitting, and Abu Jahl was among them, leaning against his bow. He said, "I have thrown like this and done like this." Then he gathered his hand with the bow and struck it between the ears of Abu Jahl, causing him pain. Then he said, "Take it with the bow and another with the sword. I bear witness that he is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and that he has brought the truth from Allah." They said, "O Abu Umamah, he insulted our gods. If you were the one and you were better than him, we would have made you our leader. But you, O Abu Umamah, you are obscene."  

الطبراني:٢٩٢٥حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيَّ يَقُولُ كَانَ إِسْلَامُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ حَمِيَّةً وَكَانَ رَجُلًا رَامِيًا وَكَانَ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ فَيَصْطَادُ فَإِذَا رَجَعَ مَرَّ بِمَجْلِسِ قُرَيْشٍ وَكَانُوا يَجْلِسُونَ عِنْدَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَيَمُرُّ بِهِمْ فَيَقُولُ رَمَيْتُ كَذَا وَصَنَعَتُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ثُمَّ يَنْطَلِقُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ وَأَقْبَلَ مِنْ رَمْيِهِ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَلَقِيَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَا عُمَارَةَ §مَاذَا لَقِيَ ابْنُ أَخِيكَ مِنْ أَبِي جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ؟ وَتَنَاوَلَهُ وَفَعَلَ بِهِ وَفَعَلَ فَقَالَ «هَلْ رَآهُ أَحَدٌ؟» قَالَتْ

إِي وَاللهِ لَقَدْ رَآهُ نَاسٌ فَأَقْبَلَ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسِ عِنْدَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَإِذَا هُمْ جُلُوسٌ وَأَبُو جَهْلٍ فِيهِمْ فَاتَّكَأَ عَلَى قَوْسِهِ فَقَالَ «رَمَيْتُ كَذَا وَفَعَلْتُ كَذَا» ثُمَّ جَمَعَ يَدَهُ بِالْقَوْسِ فَضَرَبَ بِهَا بَيْنَ أُذُنَيْ أَبِي جَهْلٍ فَدَقَّ سِيَتَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «خُذْهَا بِالْقَوْسِ وَأُخْرَى بِالسَّيْفِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَّهُ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ» قَالُوا يَا أَبَا عُمَارَةَ إِنَّهُ سَبَّ آلِهَتَنَا وَلَوْ كُنْتَ أَنْتَ وَأَنْتَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْهُ مَا أَقْرَرْنَاكَ وَذَاكَ وَمَا كُنْتَ يَا أَبَا عُمَارَةَ فَاحِشًا
