[Machine] From Ishaq bin Abi Habiba, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , from Abu Hurairah, that Marwan bin Al-Hakam came to Abu Hurairah when he was ill, the illness in which he died. Marwan said to Abu Hurairah, "I have never seen anything on you since we accompanied you except love for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain." Abu Hurairah became agitated so he sat down and said, "I bear witness that we went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we were on a certain road. We heard the voice of Al-Hasan and Al-Husain crying while they were with their mother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ hastened his walking until he reached them. I heard him say to her, 'What is wrong with my two sons?' She replied, 'Thirst.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to a water container to seek water, and the water in it was almost empty. The people also wanted water, so he called out, 'Does anyone of you have any water?' No one remained except a few people who went to their camels to search for water in a container but found nothing in it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Give them to me.'" So she gave them to him from under her breast and I saw the whiteness of his arms when she gave them to him. He took them and hugged them to his chest while his eyes were shedding tears. Then he pressed his tongue to theirs until his passion calmed down. He remained there until one of them stopped crying, then he said, 'Give me the other one.' So she gave him the other one, and he did the same with him. Then they both became silent and I did not hear any sounds from them. Then he said, 'Move on.' So we moved quickly to the right and left of the road, while avoiding the shoulder of the road, until we met him on the road. I do not like these two things (crying and mourning), and I have seen this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
